PROPOSED
AMENDMENT TO CONSTITUTION & BY-LAWS
The following
amendment to Article V, Section 1 of the EWMGA
Constitution & By-Laws is proposed by the
Association Board of Directors for membership approval:
Existing
Article V, Section 1: The number of EWMGA members
shall be left to the discretion of the Board of
Directors (Board). Members shall be male, 18 years of
age or older, have an established USGA handicap, and be
an active member of the Eagle Watch Golf Club.
Proposed

an active member of the Eagle Watch Golf Club.
Additionally, members of the
Bentwater Golf Club (as long as that club remains in the
Canongate association) who meet the above criteria can
be members of the EWMGA upon application and approval
under Article VII herein.
Summary:
This action is the result of requests from Bentwater
Golf Club members (their club does not include a Men’s
Golf Association). The EWMGA Board considers this
request beneficial to the EWMGA and approved this
proposed amendment, by a unanimous vote, on August 10,
2010. In accordance with our Constitution & By-Laws,
this proposed amendment is herein electronically
submitted to the EWMGA membership for its vote. A
majority vote of the members input from this electronic
means will determine the disposition of the proposed
amendment. |
