I know each of you are avid sportsmen, extraordinary golfers and world class humanitarians.  On August 15th we are running a benefit golf tournament in support of the Etowah Basketball program and because of my experience in running golf events, I understand that VALUE is everything and VALUE IS WHAT I GUARANTEE WE WILL PROVIDE!  With the committee we have in place, we plan on making every player’s experience a positive one, guaranteed!  That being said, I hope I can count on you to participate and/or help sponsor this event in any way.  Whether you can play in the event or not, you can still participate as a sponsor and your donation will graciously be accepted.  Keep in mind that this golf tournament is solely focused on benefiting the boys and girls participating in Etowah Basketball. It will strengthen their development and provide an even better environment for all athletes -- now and for decades to come.

 Description: GPJ_SignatureThanks in advance!

Gary P. Janos - Tournament Chairman

"…keep in mind that this golf tournament is for the kids - we want enrich them in sportsmanship, educate them in basketball and build their characters for the future."

FORMAT

This is a 4-person Ft. Lauderdale Scramble tournament, NOT Best Ball. Each person will hit a tee shot.  After all four shots have been played, there should be a consensus as to which ball is the better of the four.  Once that is determined, the other three players will pick up their ball and drop it within one club length of the chosen ball and each player will proceed to hit their next shot.  This includes putting greens, bunkers, and hazards.  This process will continue until the ball is holed out.

The first ball in the hole will count.  Do not tap your ball in until all four players have putted out.
